From the early aviators who literally flew by the seat of their pants to an intrepid woman who, despite being stricken with polio, became an outstanding aeronautical engineer known as the Queen of the Hurricane, Canada has had its share of aviation heroes. Many of them are commemorated in Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Curator Justin Cuffe introduces us to some of these pioneers of flight.
